Key Responsibilities
- Develop, train, and fine-tune ML and deep learning models for healthcare-specific tasks (diagnosis prediction, NLP summarization, chatbots, automation workflows).
- Preprocess, clean, and manage structured and unstructured healthcare datasets with high accuracy and compliance standards.
- Deploy trained models using MLOps workflows and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Monitor models in production for drift, performance degradation, and initiate retraining cycles.
- Perform bias testing, model validation, and implement XAI (Explainable AI) methods for transparency.
- Collaborate with backend, frontend, DevOps, and clinical domain teams for seamless end-to-end product integration.
- Maintain detailed documentation of model experiments, pipelines, and deployment lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning or AI development.
- Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn.
- Experience with NLP models, transformer architectures, or LLM fine-tuning.
- Understanding of deep learning, model evaluation metrics, and ML pipeline development.
- Experience with database handling, data preprocessing, and ETL pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and REST API integrations.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and version control for ML workflows.
- Knowledge of healthcare data (HL7, FHIR, DICOM) is an added advantage.

- Achieve defined model accuracy, precision, recall, and error reduction goals.
- Deliver stable, production-ready ML models meeting performance benchmarks.
- Reduce model drift with proactive monitoring and timely retraining.
- Improve inference speed and optimize model pipeline performance.
- Maintain clear documentation for reproducibility and compliance.
- Enable smooth integration of ML functionalities into product releases.
